Riggins was born on March 14, 2023, from genetically and health-tested parents, ensuring a strong foundation of excellence. He is the epitome of a naturally reared Golden Retriever, thriving on a 100% raw diet and living a completely chemical-free life. Riggins has never received a vaccine or been exposed to toxic flea, tick, or heartworm preventatives—a testament to his superior health, robust immune system, and vitality. His offspring will undoubtedly reap the benefits of this natural, toxin-free upbringing.
EXCEPTIONAL HEALTH & GENETICS
Riggins is AKC registered and has undergone comprehensive genetic testing to ensure he is clear of all hereditary conditions that could be passed to his offspring. He is completely free of all genetic variants that pose a risk to Golden Retrievers.
Riggins’ health testing is as impressive as his genetics:
✅ PennHIP Scores – The average Distraction Index (DI) for Golden Retrievers is .53. Riggins scored an incredible .38 (right hip) and .33 (left hip)—placing him well above average (top 10% in the world!) for the breed and ensuring he passes strong, healthy hips to his future puppies.
✅ OFA Preliminary Elbows – Good results! His final OFA Elbow Exam is scheduled for March 2025, at which time he will also receive his CHIC number.
✅ OFA Heart, Eyes & Thyroid – All passed with flying colors!

At Blue Line K9, Riggins not only completed his Basic Obedience class but finished with a top score of 98—winning every weekly competition along the way! He then went on to Intermediate Training, where he once again secured 1st place in his class. His intelligence, focus, and willingness to please make him an absolute dream to train.

Riggins is calm in both mind and body, radiating an unshakable confidence that draws people in. Everyone who meets him instantly falls in love! His soft, luxurious coat invites endless pets, and he soaks up every bit of affection. His temperament makes him an ideal therapy dog candidate, and his offspring are sure to inherit his gentle, loving nature.
